Text shows notes and signatures of the women who returned face imprints
to me. They are organized according to my assessment of their relationship
with me and with each other. One of eight imprints I made occupies the
center of eight communities of women, including my family, my husband's
family, childhood friends, college friends, graduate school friends, art
world friends and acquaintances, women I met while at the Glasgow School
of Art, and day job colleagues. These women often enlisted their friends
or family members to complete the project too. In such cases, the order
goes myself, my friend, her mother, her aunt, etc.
